TC History

Back in the 1970's, TC Printing was a small Kwik Kopy franchise on 13th and J Street. The owner had 2 children with the initials T and C (you can see where this is going). Hence, the name Tru Communication.

In 1990 Dave Harris purchased the company. He hired his son Jon, who was at that time, a new graduate in business from UC Riverside. With Dave's vast background in commercial and financial printing as well as a degree in printing from Cal Poly, TC quickly grew into a commercial printing company.

As J Street became more congested and parking for customers became impossible, the time had come to relocate. TC now resides in their own building with attached parking at 1215 G Street. The 1920's building was originally a blacksmith shop. It is located in a quieter part of downtown in a place where customers can come to discuss their projects in the relaxed atmosphere of our conference room. With the advancement of technology, printing has dramatically changed over the past 10 years. Projects that took days or weeks can now be done in a few days. TC Printing has been in business for 40 years and they know in the years to come there will be more changes. They are up for that challenge and expect to be here for the next 40 years.

After 6 years of superior service it has been our pleasure working with TC Printing. Not only do they have a very pleasant and knowledgeable staff, but their quality of work is top notch! I highly recommend them for any and all of your printing, marketing and designing jobs.
